The company Levi Strauss began selling a new denim jacket with special sewn threads, allowing you to turn the fabric into a touchpad. The creation of the jacket was carried out by Google specialists in the framework of the Jacquard project.
Clothing will be particularly in demand by cyclists, who do not have time to switch buttons to control worn electronics. The jacket has a sleeve made of special fabric. It acts as a touchpad connected wirelessly to the smartphone.
The user is available a limited number of commands, introduced by “svaypami” and tapping with finger pads.
Using the sleeve, you can play music, read text messages, use the navigation map.
The Levi Commuter Trucker jacket will be sold for about $ 350 in the US.
