Russian physicists have created a magnetic field that helps to fit the implants

A group of scientists of Moscow state University named after M. V. Lomonosov proposed a new method of application of the magnetocaloric effect for targeted drug delivery to the installation site of the implant. A study published in the journal International journal of Refrigeration.
Author Vladimir Zverev argues that analogues of this method that uses negative magnetocaloric effect in the world.

The essence of the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) is to ensure that under the influence of external magnetic field on a magnetic material the temperature of this material changes, sometimes elevating and sometimes, on the contrary, falling (depending on material). One of the methods developed by researchers, is called “magnetic fluid hypothermia” and reduced to heat cancer tumors special magnetic nanoparticles, an address delivered to the tumor site.

As you know, one of the problems with implantation in the human body foreign bodies — artificial joints, abdominal meshes, stents oesophageal, urinary and biliary tract and so is their likelihood of rejection. The authors of the article propose to apply to implants (even during their preparation for installation in the body) a special coating consisting of several layers.
