Virtual reality will allow you to be on Board the “Titanic”

It’s been 20 years since the premiere of James Cameron’s “Titanic” in all colors showed us the death of one of the largest in the history of the transatlantic steamers. This terrible disaster, which occurred April 15, 1912, and claimed the lives of 1496 people and forever made history. Now, thanks to virtual reality and VR games, anyone can be on Board this legendary vessel and experience, together with its passengers all the horrors of that day.

The player will assume the role of one of the passengers of the Titanic, who will survive the nightmare of the moment of sinking. After the ship sinks, the player will be able to sink to the bottom of the ocean and examine its remains in our time, decades later. Developers shoveled a huge number of books and historical documents, trying in detail to restore the premises and the interior of the ship. The game is created not only for entertainment purposes, but also constitutes an interesting benefit for students, historians and the just curious people who always wanted to be on Board the sunken ship, but the possibility of them, for obvious reasons, was not.

The development application meets Irish Studio Immersive VR, which has already brought in a virtual reality of the famous flight of the spacecraft “Apollo 11” that brought the first astronauts to the moon (today this game can be purchased at Steam for only 688 rubles, provided that you have the HTC Vive headset or Oculus Rift). Project Titanic VR can be maintained at the site Kickstarter, where the developers have already collected more than 30,000 pounds of the planned 50 000. For people in the UK the game will cost 20 pounds, which in terms of rubles out somewhere around a thousand.
