A strong geomagnetic storm is expected today

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts that a strong geomagnetic storm G3 (Kp = 7) will begin on September 6-7. The cause of its occurrence was the ejection of the coronal mass that happened yesterday, which will reach the Earth on September 6 at the end of the day. Polar lights are possible at latitudes up to the 50th parallel.
