Four Days at Saturn

In honor of the beginning of the last year of the mission “Cassini”, the staff of JPL published a very interesting time lapse. It is made up of frames taken from 25 to 27 April and includes 44 hours in the life of Saturn.

Since the gas giant rotates on its axis in about 10.5 earth hours, that’s four local days. In the video you can see the rotation of the cloud cover of the gas giant, the storm, a hexagon. However, what to tell — there all clearly signed.
