NASA plans in the summer of 2018 to launch a research probe, which will approach the Sun in a record-breaking condition. This is reported on the website of the space management.

“The launch of the Solar Probe Plus mission (SPP) is scheduled for the summer of 2018,” the report said.

It is noted that the orbit of the probe will be located 4 million miles from the surface of the Sun.
