Scricca mountain and Deimos

A couple of new Mars personnel. The first one was made by Mars Express and it depicts a Mountain Scricca. The so-called second height of the Martian SUPERVOLCANO. Its summit is located at around 18 kilometers above the mean surface level of Mars, its diameter is about 460 kilometers. It is the northernmost of lined up in a row of three volcanoes known as the Tharsis mountains.

Second picture taken by the Mars Rover Opportunity, and it depicts the Deimos. Because of the small size and relative remoteness from the red planet, the Martian sky Deimos looks like a point. However, it is still brighter than almost all stars.
