Such we didn’t see a ring of Saturn yet

If you well look narrowly, you will be able to see shadows on the rings of Saturn presented in photos. What has provoked these shadows? From where they have undertaken? Long shadows were quite unexpected for scientists, considering that the usual thickness of rings of A and B Saturn makes only about 10 meters.

After consideration of the changeable, but extended forms in the form of shadows in photos, scientists have assumed that tiny satellites the size only several kilometers can be their cause.

The image has been made the automated spaceship of Cassini which rotates around Saturn now. The image has been made in 2009, in the period of an equinox of Saturn when the sunlight allows to draw the highest shadows on rings of Saturn.
