The solar wind caused auroras on Earth

The flow of the fast moving solar wind affect the Earth’s magnetic field this weekend, which caused geomagnetic storms around the poles. Bright dispay at dusk on the Lofoten Islands, Norway, September 3, captured by local photographer.

The solar wind flows with an unusually large coronal holes on the Sun. This hole is spewing a solar wind flow is so broad that it could affect the Earth within a few days.
