Abnormal giant waves struck the beaches of Italy

Abnormal giant wave struck in the afternoon of 28 July, on the overcrowded beaches of San Terenzo and Blue Bay in Lerici, the Italian province of Liguria.

Some very strong and high the waves rose suddenly, on a perfectly calm sea, literally sweeping away the tourists before the third row of umbrellas on the beach. Fortunately, has done without victims and victims.

The incident is decidedly strange, because the conditions of the sea and weather do not appear to have an influence on the movement of the sea surface. Waves damaged buildings and took valuable things of tourists. Seismic vibrations in the area were not recorded.
