In County Durham in the north of England, one of the farmers had a lamb with five hoofs.
The owner of the animal did not expect that the newborn will survive, but gave him the nickname “Hope.” Now, when the lamb was two weeks old, the woman decided to keep it for herself.
The fifth hoof sticks out at the lamb from the right side. Usually animals born with deformities do not live long. But the veterinarian who examined the lamb said that he did not even need an operation to remove excess hooves, and nothing prevents the animal from living a long and happy life.
