A shark attacked a man on the Mediterranean coast in Egypt, Youm7 reported.
The incident took place three kilometers from the coast near the tourist village of Sidi Abdurrahman. The animal attacked a 58-year-old man and bit off part of his arm.
The victim was hospitalized with an open wound in a hospital in the city of al-Alamein and received medical assistance.
After the incident, the authorities closed the beach and began checks. The Ministry of the Environment of Egypt intends to establish which fish bit the man.
