In South Korea, the reactor at the nuclear power plant “Corey”

The nuclear reactor at the nuclear power plant “Corey” is stopped due to a malfunction in the cooling system. The level of the cooling reagent has grown significantly and the company has decided to stop the reactor because of the probability of leakage of radioactive waste.

The Corey nuclear power plant is an operating nuclear power plant in the south-east of South Korea. The station is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan on the border of the metropolitan cities of Busan and Ulsan. The first power unit was commissioned in 1978.
