In Yakutia, a man escaped from the clutches of a polar bear and survived

In Yakutia, a 50-year-old reindeer breeder survived an attack by a polar bear. Border guards took the victim to the hospital by helicopter.

The case, as noted by RIA Novosti, was recorded on the island of Bolshoy Lyakhovsky near the Bychagai River. The man received numerous injuries to his arms, legs and head, but was able to fight off the second largest land-based predator and hide.

The injured reindeer herder was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Tiksi, his life is out of danger.
