The aircraft of the airline Thai Airways International went beyond the runway and was damaged during emergency landing at the airport of the Thai island of Phuket, the passengers and crew were not injured.
The plane, carrying out domestic TG flight 221 from Bangkok to Phuket on Wednesday at 19.35 (15.35 GMT), has made landing in adverse weather conditions. Strong crosswinds and limited visibility are the reason that the ship touched the runway, passing in the middle, and during braking went beyond the strip.
In the result of emergency landing anybody from passengers and members of crew has not suffered, but the left front wheel liner drove a considerable distance on soft ground, and the wheels of the chassis were badly damaged.
The plane will remain on Phuket to replace the damaged parts and technical inspection to the complete elimination of the presence of other mechanical damage.
