In Antarctica, found a fruit cake which is 106 years old

A well-preserved fruit pie was found in a hut at Cape Ader in East Antarctica. Researchers from the New Zealand Antarctic Heritage Trust, who found the cake, dated him the time of the Terra Nova expedition led by Robert Scott.

106-year-old pie was made by Huntley & Palmers. He was wrapped in paper and placed in a tin can.

According to the researchers, the cake was in excellent condition and even groin as edible.
