During the study of the environs of El Vulcano in the valley of Nepenya, located in Peru, archeologists came across an unexpected find. They managed to find a ladder in the crater of a volcano, which was previously considered a natural formation.
Professor Robert Benfer from the University of Missouri, along with like-minded people, conducted excavations in the crater. Among other things, in the volcano, a whole hall with clay-gypsum floor was found, as well as a focus in which the remains of charcoal were found. At the same time, it was possible to establish that the last time the fire was fired between approximately 1492 and 1602 years.
Scientists believe that the structure was in the form of a pyramid. It is supposed that it could be used for ritual purposes.
