155 deaths, 25,000 displaced after flooding in Nigeria

The Red Cross reports that more than 150 people have died and about 25,000 have been displaced by flooding in Nigeria.

In its October 19 report, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) reported that heavy rains, river floods and flash floods since September have collectively affected 192,594 people in 22 states in Nigeria.

In addition, about 826 casualties and 155 deaths have been recorded to date, and 24,134 people have reportedly been displaced.
