A total of 27 tornadoes occurred over 1 day in the Midwest of the United States – stretching from South Dakota to Texas.
The largest tornado was in the area at Ochiltree (Texas), where for several hundred yards had been felled power lines.In addition, according to the National weather service, in 86 parts of South Dakota, Kansas, Texas and Nebraska dropped heavy rain and hail.
