As a result of the storm, accompanied by heavy rain and heavy hail, at least two people were killed in the Mangwa area of Zimbabwe, another 15 were injured.
The 53-year-old man was killed as a result of the collapse of his hut, a 10-year-old boy was the victim of a huge hail that struck on Saturday night. All victims with injuries of varying severity were hospitalized.
In one of the villages, some houses and foodstuffs were destroyed, and livestock was lost. The exact number of affected villages has not yet been established, as the damage assessment continues.
