A powerful storm passed through Australian Queensland

Stormy weather, accompanied by a heavy rainfall, caused floods and disruptions in the supply of electricity to the coast of Australian Queensland.

In the city of Bundaberg in just 24 hours, 339 mm of precipitation fell – a record figure for the whole of October. At the same time, 286 mm of rain collapsed in just six hours.

Emergency services in the area received more than 90 calls for help because of damage to house roofs, flooding and dumped power lines. More than 3 thousand objects remained without electricity.

There were also reports that a tornado had passed through Bundaberg. In social networks, there were photos showing serious damage as a result of the riot of the elements.

Heavy rains passed in other areas. In Brisbane because of bad weather without light there were more than 2,2 thousand consumers.
