An underground tremor of magnitude 6 was recorded in the Indian Ocean at a distance of 207 km southwest of the city of Padang on the western coast of Sumatra (Indonesia).
In addition, an underground tremor of magnitude 5.7 was recorded, its epicenter was located 173 km west of Padang on the island of Siburut.
