An earthquake of magnitude 4 on the Richter scale struck Los Angeles, USA, with its epicenter in Lennox, a city 3 km east of Los Angeles International Airport.
Earlier on the same day, an earthquake of magnitude 3 was recorded in the same area.
More than 30 aftershocks occurred after the 4.0 magnitude earthquake. The tremors were felt by all residents of nearby settlements.
