Asian bird plague kills pigeons in Moscow

Dead birds can be seen in yards, parks, gardens and on the way to the subway. Birds are dying from intestinal infections and the Asian bird plague.

Experts comfort: these ailments are not dangerous for people, and mass diseases of birds is a natural mechanism to reduce the population. In cities pigeons reproduce very quickly, predatory birds unable to regulate their population, the result of start of the epidemic.

Nicholas, a resident of Moscow: “Before his death, the pigeons become like zombies. They lose orientation, on-the-fly and slam into the walls of the houses and trees and then fall and never rise again”.

Doctors advise not to touch her hands to the fallen birds and to keep them Pets.
