Because of the cold in Florida, iguanas are falling off the trees

A wave of cooling in Florida (USA) led to the fact that on the roads of the region there were many iguanas – they all fell from the trees. The lizards were so frozen that they fell into a stupor and lost grip on the surfaces on which they were sitting.

Experts say that animals are not dead and will recover when the weather improves. Therefore, residents are not recommended to take them to themselves, bury them or do something different with them – it is better to leave them where they lie.

Recall that other animals were victims of cold weather in the United States. So off the coast of the Atlantic coast, three sharks were frozen to death, and in the Gulf of Mexico rescued icy turtles. Suffer and animals in zoos: the zoo in Calgary has translated into the covered rooms of even frost-resistant birds – penguins.

At the time of the fall of the iguanas in Florida, it was 40 degrees Fahrenheit (about 4 degrees Celsius).
