Zoige County in southwest China and parts of Gansu Province in northwest China experienced the first snowfalls of the season.
In rural areas, the weather created snowy landscapes, signaling local herders to prepare their livestock for the long winter ahead. Outside Zhangjiachuan County, Gansu City in Tianshui City, the pastures were covered with a layer of white snow.
The snowfall was accompanied by a sharp drop in temperature from six degrees Celsius to negative three.
