Ebeko volcano throws out a pillar of ash

The Ebeko volcano, located in the Kuril Islands, Russia, erupted an ash plume about 2 kilometers high.

“On the afternoon of March 25, the Critical Situations Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Sakhalin Region received information that the Ebeko volcano ejected an ash plume for 2 kilometers. The plume spread to the north for a distance of up to 5 kilometers, ”the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Ebeko volcano is located at the northern tip of Paramushir Island. Its height is 1156 meters.
