Flood in Nepal

As a result of floods and landslides caused by heavy rains, at least 17 people were killed in Nepal, another three are missing.

Most of the deaths occurred in the central western and eastern parts of the country. So, on Monday, a 22-year-old woman, her daughter and a neighbor died as a result of the collapse of a stone house in the mountainous area of ​​Rolpa. Three people, including a 5-year-old boy, were swept away by a river that left the bank in the Banke area.

Another 11 people in different parts of the country in the last two days were killed as a result of floods and landslides. At least six people were injured.

In addition, because of the weather, more than 1.5 thousand Indian pilgrims were stuck in the Khumla district in the north-western part of Nepal. Pilgrims were heading to Mount Kailas, a sacred place in the Tibetan region of China, popular with Indian tourists.
