Dozens of people were evacuated from the disaster zone near the capital of Azerbaijan. Because of the torrential rains that took place at the beginning of the week, many settlements of Absheron district west of Baku were flooded.
Meteorologists warn that the rains will last as long as a few more days. And this does not please the local residents, who were forced to leave their homes in a hurry.
In some places the water depth reaches 1 meter or more. It is reported that some of the evacuated residents required medical assistance.
