Heavy rains caused flooding in the Mongolian aimag of Bayan-ölgii, located in the West of the country. In the disaster killed two people, including a 4-year-old child.
Due to incessant rains overflowed the river Hovd, podtopil surrounding area. Under the water were about 200 houses, many residential buildings were destroyed, 700 people were left homeless. Under the wreckage of one of the collapsed houses was a child.Killed one adult, who was electrocuted from an electric post, collapsed under the onslaught of the elements.
