Flooding in Southwest France

In southwestern France, more than a hundred people were forced to flee their homes due to flooding caused by storm Justine. A difficult situation has developed in the departments of Lot-et-Garonne and the Gironde. The town of Marmande and its surroundings are almost completely surrounded by water. The water level in the Garonne River is still at a critical level. In total, eight departments of the region were affected by the floods.
