Heavy rainfall triggers flooding in Queensland, Australia

Severe flooding hit southeast Queensland after heavy rains, killing at least four people. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, up to 153 mm of rain fell in 24 hours.

The flood has covered several roads, and the police are urging citizens to stay at home. Heavy rainfall also caused surplus water to leak from the Nindwinbah and Cedar Karman dams, while Sekwater warned nearby residents not to descend downstream from dams, including those in Enogger, Hintz and Vyaralonga.
