At least 60,000 people were trapped in flooded areas in many parts of Kurigam County.

The flooding could damage the homesteads and arable land of thousands of residents in the area, residents say.
The Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) local office reports 156 mm of rainfall in the last 12 hours, from 10:00 pm Saturday to 10:00 am Sunday.
