Heavy rains caused flooding in China

At least 42 people were killed and 25 were missing in 10 administrative units of China provincial level, the Ministry of civil Affairs of the PRC.

Lingering showers from June 18 has forced more than 460 thousand people to flee their homes, more than 320 thousand people in need of emergency assistance. Due to the inclement weather affected 10 administrative units of China, including Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan.

As a result of the impact of heavy rains destroyed nearly 7 thousand buildings, destroyed crops over large areas. Economic damage is estimated at 1.46 billion U.S. dollars.
