The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm warning with strong, damaging winds and hail in the escarpment and Lowveld areas of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
The powerful hail that passed through Lydenburg, including Badfontein, Dullstrum (R36) and Burgersforth (R37) roads, caused severe damage to property and vehicles.
