On Monday, February 12, erupted a powerful eruption of the volcano Turrialba in Costa Rica.
The ash column reached a height of 1000 meters above the crater and 4340 meters above sea level. In nearby areas, the ash falls. Health authorities in Costa Rica last week called on local residents to take preventive measures, especially those who are prone to respiratory and allergic diseases. People are advised to use wet towels or surgical dressings, wear long-sleeved shirts.
