The Indonesian authorities have lowered the level of danger for civil aviation activity of the volcano on Mount Agung from red to orange level. This means that the nearby airports on the islands of Bali and Lombok can work as usual.
At the same time, the work of the international airport on the resort island of Lombok was resumed, which was closed a day ago due to the eruption, Tass reports. Earlier an airport for the island of Bali was opened for flights.
At the same time, the official representative of the Indonesian Agency for the Prevention of Natural Disasters announced that the evacuation of residents of the nearby volcano areas continues. By now, more than 48 thousand people have been moved to the accommodation centers. In total, up to 100 thousand people can be in the danger zone.
