The earthquake measuring 5,4 has occurred in the afternoon on Saturday in the central part of Japan, there is no threat of a tsunami.
According to the Main meteorological agency of the country, tremors have been recorded at 11:48 local time (05:48 Moscow time) near the Prefecture of Wakayama. The seismic center lay at a depth of 60 kilometers underground.
Tremors measuring up to 4 points were felt in 23 prefectures. The strongest Wakayama, Mie, Kyoto, Nar and the Whitefish have been recorded in prefectures Osaka.
Messages on victims or destructions as a result of an earthquake didn’t arrive yet. There are also no data on failures in work of the NPPs located in the region.
