According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, a powerful “explosion” was preceded by several small eruptions. Increased activity was observed from May 26. The eruption did not lead to casualties and property damage.
April 28 this year, Sakuradzim threw a cloud of ash to a height of 3.2 km, after which the giant kept its activity.
