In Texas, 13 toxic waste repositories were flooded

13 sites where toxic waste is stored, flooded or damaged in Texas due to Hurricane Harvey. This was reported on September 2 by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
While experts have investigated only two objects, the rest does not allow to get close to the water.

Teams of experts are on the ground to study the extent of damage to the other 11 sites as soon as the water falls, “the agency said, residents of the flood-hit areas are afraid of spreading toxic substances with water, the Associated Press reported, a dump of toxic waste in the San Jacinto River, where the earth is contaminated with dioxin, which can cause cancer and congenital pathologies.
