In the Czech Republic boars “glowing” from the radiation

In the Czech Republic observed the consequences of the Chernobyl accident in 1986. Almost half of wild boars, captured in the forests of nature reserve Sumava, West Bohemia, still glowing.

Elevated levels of radiation emitted by the animals, due to the fact that they eat reindeer truffles are underground mushrooms for accumulation of radiation. Radioactive carcasses of wild boars, as the head of the Department of food safety the State veterinary office Jiri Skedaddle, shall be destroyed.
