Strombolian activity on mount Yasur volcano in Vanuatu has been very strong lately. Lava bombs frequently fell outside the crater, which means extreme danger to stay in this area near the volcano.
This video, posted on YouTube, shows a strong explosion at the volcano with ash and spray lava. One of the lava bombs landed only two meters from the tourists, who filmed the riot Asura.
Yasur is an active stratovolcano on the island of Tanna (Vanuatu). The height above sea level is 361 m, the diameter of the crater is about 400 m.
