The earthquake of a magnitude of 6.1 occurred on Friday on Severo-the East of Zambia, near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania, according to the US Geological survey (USGS).
Tremors were recorded at 00.32 UTC (03.32 GMT). The earthquake epicenter was located about 41 kilometers East of the village of Caputh. The center was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
