Tremors was after midnight and until 11:30 (local time) in the Italian regions Marche, Umbria and Lazio, only registered 124 earthquake.
According to the national seismic network of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the strongest earthquake was magnitude 3.8. During the previous day Italian seismologists have recorded more than 280 earthquakes with magnitude above 2. Recall, an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 (according to others, to 6.6) occurred at 7:40 am October 30 local time and was centered 132 km North-East of Rome near the town of Norcia. At least 20 people were injured, many buildings collapsed.
Previously, the deadliest quake of magnitude 6.0 “occurred” on August 24 at 03:36 local time. The death toll in the earthquake amounted to 298 people.
