Japanese volcano Sakurajima threw a column of ashes

Located on the Japanese island of Kyushu, Sakurajima volcano suddenly threw a column of ash over three kilometers high.

The eruption occurred on the morning of April 28. According to the local branch of the Japanese Meteorological Agency, this is the first volcanic eruption in the current calendar year. The last time any activity of the volcano Sakuradzima was recorded in July 2016.

According to seismologists, in the near future we can expect a repeated release of ash from the mouth of the volcano.
