Landslides caused by heavy rains kill at least 11 people in West Java, Indonesia

Heavy rain that caused landslides in western Indonesia killed 11 people.

Two landslides struck in a row in Chihanzhuang Village in Chimangung District, Sumedang Regency in West Java Province, January 9, 2021.

According to the national emergency agency BNPB, the first landslide occurred around 4:00 pm and the second around 7:30 pm. by local time . BNPB blames torrential rains and unstable soil conditions for landslides
