A man was struck by lightning on a golf course in Burlington County. A man was seeking shelter from an impending thunderstorm at Burlington Country Club on Burrs Road in Westampton Township when lightning struck a tree near him.
The lightning strike occurred between the 6th and 7th holes of the course at about 3:45 p.m. The man, who has not been identified, later died of his injuries.
