Livni in Japan led to mass evacuation of people

Due to heavy rains on the west coast of Japan (Shimane Prefecture) mass evacuation is carried out. According to local authorities, 19.7 thousand people must leave their homes. If you leave the house is impossible or dangerous, it is recommended to go up to the 2nd floor of the house.

Earlier in the region, a regime of “special alarm” was introduced due to downpours and the danger of flooding and landslides. The degree of threat was higher than all the limits known so far.

An extremely dangerous situation on the coast is due to the typhoon “Nanmadol” and the influence of the atmospheric front. In the region 350 millimeters of precipitation fell in one day – this exceeds the norm of July.
