Mount Etna, Italy, ejects a column of ash and lava flows

The Italian volcano Etna made another eruption, throwing a column of ash to a height of 12 km above sea level.
This is the ninth eruption of Mount Etna since February 16.

Today, after another explosion and the ejection of columns of ash, the volcano began pouring out streams of incandescent lava. Lava fountains rose 500 m above the rim of the crater.
