New bushfire breaks out in Southern California, evacuating 100,000

A wildfire that quickly broke out prompted an order to evacuate 100,000 Southern California residents.

The Silverado fire broke out early in Orange County, quickly jumping the highway and engulfing a vast area. The fire doubled in two hours, strong gusts of wind pushing the flames along the scrub ridges in the Silverado Canyon towards thousands of houses.
